This is taken from (and an answer to) mxsmanic's "trip on métro line 9 in paris, france", at 2:20 exactly: metro on rails through the tunnel, which resonance creates this sound (very familiar to me as i live here). Interesting to notice that the sound's frequency stays around 483hz, which was (in the ancient solfeggio frequency science attributed to pythagoras) the frequency of "opening consciousness".

Approximately 45 minutes of a hardware cleaning tumbler operating in a damp basement. Recorded with a panasonic slimline portable cassette recorder in mono. Then re-recorded with a sure pg58 into daw. Exported as flac.

Opening and closing an old metal hatch in our basement. The hatch is locked by two handles. The first two creaks are the handles being turned, the last creak is the hatch itself. At around 0:10, the hatch is closed again and the two handles are turned to closed position. Recorded using a no-name directional microphone. I recorded the atmosphere of an opening in paris, a lot of people are chatting, you can hear cameras, the sound of a video, footsteps. It's in the basement, it's high ceilings a lot of reverb.

My bird makes this sound in the morning usually it means sherry wants food, today she was quite hungry. The sound is g# according to audacity. She makes some other sounds but i'm not uploading them just yet.

The basic sound of a clothes dryer tumbling, with loud clicking from the clothes inside -- buttons and zippers against the drum, along with the deep rumbling of the motor and the thump of the tumbler. Recorded on a sony pcm-m10 recorder with a very old electret condenser microphone.
